MyUni is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and secure digital environment for students. We take child safety and user wellbeing seriously and have implemented strong safeguards to prevent abuse, exploitation, and harmful behavior on our platform.

1. Target Audience & Eligibility

• MyUni is designed exclusively for verified university students and above.
• Users must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• Access is restricted using:
• University selection during signup
• Email or mobile verification
• Accounts suspected to belong to minors are suspended immediatelypending verification.

2. Zero-Tolerance Policy for Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE)

MyUni enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Sexual exploitation of minors
• Grooming, solicitation, or predatory behavior
• Sexualized content involving minors (real or fictional)

Such content is strictly prohibited, regardless of intent or context.

Any violation results in:

• Immediate content removal
• Permanent account suspension
• Reporting to appropriate legal authorities when required

3. Content Moderation & Safety Controls

To maintain a safe environment, MyUni uses a combination of:

a) Automated Monitoring

• AI-assisted detection for:
• Explicit or sexual content
• Harassment or abusive language
• Suspicious behavioral patterns

b) Human Review

• Flagged content is reviewed by trained moderators
• Priority handling for safety-related reports

4. Reporting & User Controls

Users can easily report unsafe behavior or content via:

• Report Post
• Report User
• Block User

Each report category includes clear reasons such as:

• Sexual content
• Harassment or bullying
• Exploitation or unsafe behavior
• Impersonation or abuse

Reports are reviewed promptly, and appropriate action is taken.

5. Restricted Interactions & Safeguards

• No public or anonymous direct messaging with unknown users by default
• Community guidelines strictly regulate interactions
• Counselors and faculty (where applicable) have limited, role-based access
• No matchmaking, dating, or romantic solicitation features

6. Privacy & Data Protection

• We collect only minimal data required for app functionality
• No sale or sharing of user data with third parties
• Sensitive information is encrypted and securely stored
• No tracking or profiling of minors (since minors are not allowed)
